Though Fall and Winter are my favorite seasons, I must tell you I am ready for Spring! I am tired of freezing fingers and a chilly nose, not to mention the constant drip of that cold little nose. As I wait for Spring and it's official first day, March 20th, I thought I'd share with you a few new recipes I found on the internet that look especially delicious! 

I am excited to try some of these this weekend...and I encourage you to do the same, if you find yourself in a recipe rut carried over from the cold Winter months.

A Football Feast For The Tailgate

Being close to a state university, we get some spirited football fans and tailgating going on every weekend during the fall college football season - and we love it! Tailgating is one of the highly versatile activities that can be enjoyed by die-hard fans and casual cheer sections alike. 

I am always on the look out for a new recipe that can convert to a tailgating touchdown when it comes to good eats. Here is where I give a shameless shout out to Bronco Nation, BSU Broncos and my alma mater!

Plan A Picnic!

Hello June! I love the warmer weather we're enjoying here in the Northwest, USA. It's finally nice enough to send the kids outside without checking for coats, hats, mittens and other warming accessories. And...it's perfect picnic weather!

There is something wonderfully alluring, fresh and zesty about eating outdoors, whether in your own backyard or away from home at a park, forest or by the lake. If you access to any of these type of areas, I highly encourage you to try some of our picnic perfect recipes and get outdoors!

(There is also nothing wrong with picnicing on a blanket in your living room if you live in an area where it's rainy or just beginning the cold season - this can be a great activity for entertaining little ones too!)

Fresh Meals For Spring!

I look outside my window and see: leaves peeking out from branches, tiny buds waving at me and flashes of color as birds flit from branch to branch. And that all makes me think of Spring! With Spring in full swing, I crave crunchy veggies, succulent tuna salad and tart lemonade.

Completely Random Dinner Ideas!

I have to admit to having a very scattered week and it took a lot of creative energy to come up with some tasty and interesting dinners for the family. Last night, my brain was drained and I fed my crew bacon, eggs and homemade biscuits. Nice huh?

Autumn Dishes And Delights!

Are you ready for Fall? I can't believe it's Autumn again, already! Where has the year gone? Who knows! I do know Fall is the perfect time for crockpot soups, hearty beef stews and delicious chicken noodle soup.
