I admit it. I am anxious for fall. It's probably my favorite season by far. I enjoy the blossoms in spring, swimming weather in summer and cozy fires in winter. But there is something about fall that is the perfect blend of apple cider, pumpkins, scarves and hay rides. I love school carnivals in fall, harvest parties, carving pumpkins and corn mazes. But most of all, I delight in being able to start making some of those heavier dinner and desserts such as chili, potato soup in a bread bowl and carmel apples - you know, the dishes that are just too hot for summer? Anyway... With that in mind, please indulge me as I share some of my favorite fall recipes:
